Digital Collections at Marietta College will serve as an electronic repository for the conservation and digitization of these collections. The first portion available online is The Manuscripts and Documents of the Ohio Company of Associates.
This collection of documents, records, and letters deal with the Ohio Company. Included are the original book of minutes of the directors, the record book of deeds, the survey plats, and the field notes of the surveyors. The collection was deeded to Marietta College by the late Mrs. Albert B. White, a descendant of Nahum Ward, the pioneer who owned a controlling interest in the Company's assets.
Preservation and digitization of the Manuscripts and Documents of the Ohio Company of Associates is supported in part by a grant from Save America's Treasures, administered by the National Park Service, Department of the Interior.
The
ETD Center is a free, online database of Ohio’s masters and doctoral
theses and dissertations from participating OhioLINK member schools. It
contains the abstract for all included theses and dissertations. The full-text
is also available if it was submitted. Marietta College graduate programs
include their master's papers in
this database.
